WooooooWeeeeeee...this was a sexy book. Love the open door spice scenes. I think some reviews are commenting on the taboo idea of having sex with a priest, but the author is clear that he is a minister at a seemingly nondenominational church, so marriage and relationships are on the table. I think Jack and Dixie live in different worlds, but it makes for a good opposites attract story. The book offers a delightful blend of humor, heart, and heat. Jack and Dixie's chemistry unfolds through witty banter and tender moments. The small-town setting provides a charming backdrop filled with quirky characters and a sense of community. The book tackles real-life challenges, including health struggles and personal dreams, adding depth to the romance. Dixie and Jack's chemistry is undeniable, blending humor, love, and a touch of faith. This story is a spicy and heartfelt journey you won't want to miss! ❤️🔥🙏 The book was just released two days ago and I highly recommend it.

Read Between the Lines by Emily Kerr book review
"Read Between the Lines" by Emily Kerr is a cute and cozy romance set in the charming city of Oxford. Librarian Kat Fisher finds herself entangled in a potential catfishing scam on a dating app. Enter Leo Taylor, a former police officer with a grumpy demeanor, who reluctantly agrees to help her uncover the truth. As they delve into the mystery, Kat and Leo's relationship evolves from initial annoyance to unexpected affection. The story is enriched by the picturesque Oxford setting, cozy libraries, and engaging side characters. While the mystery of the scammer keeps readers intrigued, the development of Kat and Leo’s relationship provides warmth and humor. The novel blends romance with a light mystery, creating a charming narrative that balances laugh-out-loud moments with tender, emotional beats.
I really loved that the story was set in a public library in Oxford. This is definitely a slow-burn romance because it begins with the dating scam and Kat is a bit put off by that. This is the first book of Emily Kerr's that I have read, but I am excited to discover that she has many more books! If you're craving a cozy romance with a dash of mystery, "Read Between the Lines" is your perfect match! 📚💖 Dive into the charming world of Oxford and enjoy the sexy journey of Kat and Leo. 🌟

This is definitely a sexy, action-packed romance! The forced proximity on a desert island creates intense chemistry and tension between Sydney and Hunter, appealing to those who enjoy opposites-attract stories. The treasure hunt adds an exciting layer of mystery and action....because who doesn't want to find an old pile of gold? I love that Sydney is the one who is a genius with code-cracking.
