Dom-Com by Adriana Anders book review

In "Dom-Com," Rae Jensen steps into a club seeking an escape from her responsibilities, only to find Grant Bowman, a brooding Dom known as "The General." Their one-night encounter turns complicated when they discover they'll be working together. As they navigate their workplace dynamic, Rae, a people-pleasing sub, learns to assert herself, while Grant, resistant to commitment, finds his rules challenged. The story unfolds with humor, spice, and unexpected romance, exploring the balance between personal desires and professional boundaries. Set against a backdrop of kink and workplace intrigue, this novel brings a fresh take on the dominant-submissive relationship.

I really enjoyed this book!  It was a sexy blend of humor, spice, and heartfelt connections. Romance readers will appreciate the dynamic between Rae and Grant, marked by witty banter and undeniable chemistry. The exploration of kink adds a fun twist, while the workplace setting provides a bit of a taboo backdrop for their evolving relationship. With its light-hearted tone and relatable characters, this book is perfect for those seeking an entertaining and steamy escape. It's definitely a fun-spice book.  There is a sex club involved, but I would consider it a "starter" kink book.  Some of the reviews are critical of Rae being a pushover, but that is kind of the point.  She learns to set boundaries over the course of the story.  There is a bit of a mystery woven throughout the book that sets the stage for Grant being there.  He also has some issues to work on and his grumpiness is entertaining.  Overall, this is a great book when you need a steamy escape.  It was hard to put down, so plan on reading it in one sitting.

This book will be out January 27, 2026.  Thanks to NetGalley and Forever Publishing for an ARC.
